Tilak Exclusive

Tilak Exclusive is located at 22433 Ajmal Khan Road. This part of Karol Bagh is always packed with people looking for wedding clothes or nice suits. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now. The shop has a lot of mirrors and bright lights to show off the embroidery on the clothes. We deal in ethnic wear, mostly. It’s a lot of sitting down with customers and unfolding heavy lehengas or suits so they can see the work properly. We get a lot of families coming in together. It can get pretty loud when everyone is giving their opinion on a dress. We have a few old wooden chairs for the elders to sit on while the younger ones shop. Ajmal Khan Road is famous for shopping, and we’re glad to have a spot here. We don’t do much advertising. Most people find us because their mother or grandmother shopped here years ago and told them about us. We take pride in knowing our fabrics. I can tell just by touching a piece of cloth if it’s good quality or not. The tea stall guy next door knows our order by heart and brings it over twice a day. We work long hours, especially during the wedding season. By the end of the day, the shop is a bit of a mess with fabric everywhere, but we tidy it up and start over tomorrow. It’s a good business to be in. We just keep things moving along at 22433.
