Our office is at 705 Vikrant Tower in Rajendra Place. It’s a tall building and we are way up on the seventh floor. Rajendra Place is a real hub for trading, so you’ll see people carrying files and rushing to meetings all day long. Our space is pretty basic—just some sturdy tables, a few filing cabinets, and a water cooler that always seems to be empty. We do a lot of trading work here, which involves a ton of phone calls and keeping track of market prices on our old monitors. The light in the office is a bit dim, but we have big windows that let in the afternoon sun. We’ve been in this tower for quite a few years now, and we know the lift operator and the guys at the tea stall downstairs pretty well. It’s a busy atmosphere, and sometimes it gets a little loud when everyone is talking on the phone at once. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that; you just walk right into where the work is happening. Our days are mostly filled with checking invoices and making sure the shipping schedules are on track. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from nine to six. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image, we just want to make sure the trades go through without any hiccups.
