Sonu Engineering Works

Sonu Engineering Works is over at No. 10, Dwarka Puri, which is just by Delhi Gate. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with people moving around all day. Being near Devi Mandir means we hear the sounds from the temple quite a bit, especially in the mornings when things are just starting up. We open the doors at No. 10 and get the machines ready. It’s just a standard shop floor, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a local engineering place in this part of town. The walls are a bit worn, and there’s usually a bit of oil or metal shavings on the floor by noon, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually working. We don't really do much besides the daily tasks that come through the door. Sometimes the traffic by Delhi Gate makes it hard for deliveries to pull up right outside, but we manage. Dwarka Puri has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. It isn't a big fancy office, just a workspace where we spend most of our hours. You can find us there most days, just past the temple gates. It’s a simple setup with the basic tools we need to get through the jobs. Most of the people around here know where we are because of the landmark, so we don't need much else. It’s just Sonu Engineering Works, doing what we do at the same spot every day.
