Our administrative office is located at C-11 in Connaught Place, right in the heart of the city. Being at Simbhaoli Sugar means we deal with a lot of data and logistics from our various mill locations. This office is where the coordination happens. The building itself has that classic old Delhi feel to it, with high ceilings and heavy doors. It’s a busy atmosphere inside because there is always something that needs attention, whether it’s a shipping schedule or a supplier invoice. We don't have a lot of modern decor; it's mostly just functional desks and rows of filing cabinets. The noise from the street outside is constant, with the sound of horns and people talking, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We have a small pantry where we make tea several times a day to keep us going. The staff here has been around for a long time, so there’s a lot of institutional knowledge in the room. We don't use any fancy corporate jargon when we talk to each other. We just focus on getting the tasks done. Sometimes we have to stay late when the reports are due, but generally, we stick to a regular schedule. Getting to the office can be a bit of a challenge with the parking situation in CP, so most of us take the metro. It’s a solid, dependable place to work, and we’re right in the middle of all the action in the capital.
