Shama Engineering Works

You can find Shama Engineering Works over at Plot No. 12/7 in Gali No. 7, right in the middle of the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. If you know this area, you know it’s crowded and noisy with the sound of machines coming from every single building. Our shop is no different. We spend our days working with metal, doing whatever machining or fabrication needs to be done. It’s a grit-and-grime kind of job, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The Gali is always busy with tempos loading and unloading stuff, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this plot for years and we’ve seen the area change a lot. Inside, it’s a bit dark and the floor is stained with oil, but that’s just the nature of an engineering workshop. We have our lathes and drills set up, and they’ve been running since we started. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just find us by the machines. Most of our customers are other local businesses who need specific parts made quickly. We don’t use any fancy software to manage things, just a notebook where we write down the orders and the measurements. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s served us well enough for a long time now. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay busy every day.
