Saini Tool Room

Saini Tool Room is located at B-29 in Anand Parbat, specifically down Gali No 9. If you know Anand Parbat, you know it is a maze of small workshops and busy streets. Our place is one of those spots where there is always something being hammered or drilled. The building is old, and the walls have that gray look that comes from years of industrial work. We have a few machines squeezed into the space we have. It is tight, but we have learned how to move around each other without getting in the way. The lighting is not the best, so we use these bright lamps over the workbenches. Most of our day is spent looking at small metal parts and making sure they are the right shape. It is the kind of work that makes your eyes tired by five o'clock. We do not have a big sign outside, just the name painted on the door. People usually just walk in and ask for whoever is available. We keep a stash of biscuits in a tin for the afternoon slump. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so there is a lot of shouting back and forth across the lane. It is a noisy, busy atmosphere, but it is home for us. We have been in this gali for a long time and we know almost everyone on the block. It is not a polished corporate office, just a real workshop where we spend our time fixing things up.
