Sachdeva Engineering Works

Sachdeva Engineering Works is located in the Vishnu Garden area, specifically at R-283/71. If you know Jhandewalan, you know how busy and cramped these streets can get. Our workshop is right in the middle of it all. It is a place filled with the smell of grease and the sound of machines running throughout the day. We have been doing engineering work here for a long time, mostly taking on small jobs and repairs that people in the neighborhood need. The shop is always a bit dusty, and there are metal scraps in the corners, but that is just the nature of what we do. We don't have an office with fancy chairs or air conditioning. Mostly, we are on our feet or leaning over a lathe machine. My hands are usually stained with oil by the time the afternoon rolls around. It is hard work, and the heat in Delhi doesn't make it any easier, especially in the summer when the metal roof of the shop gets really hot. We just keep the water cooler filled and keep working. People stop by to ask for quotes or to see if we can fix a part for them. We don't do any big advertising or marketing. Word just travels around Vishnu Garden. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. We just focus on getting the machines to work and making sure the parts are cut right so the customers are satisfied with the results we provide.
