Rao Engineering Enterprises

Rao Engineering Enterprises is tucked away on Old Rohtak Road, specifically in Street Number 1 in East Moti Bagh. If you find house 91 D 3, you’ve found us. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always the smell of metal and maybe a bit of oil in the air. The workshop is where we spend nearly all our time. It’s filled with tools, some of which are quite old but still work better than the new ones. There are metal shavings on the floor most evenings before we sweep up. We don’t really have an office staff; it’s mostly just us getting our hands dirty with whatever needs fixing or making. The lighting is a bit dim in the corners, but we have some bright lamps over the workbenches. It gets noisy when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We don't have a website or a fancy brochure. People mostly find us because someone told them we were here. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, and we end up staying late under the fluorescent lights. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We just like figuring out how things fit together and making sure they stay that way once they leave the shop. It is a bit greasy, but that is how engineering goes.
