R G Engineering Works

R G Engineering Works is located in Gali No-1, 50/17-A in Anand Parbat. It is one of those streets where you have to watch your step because of the narrow lanes. We have been here for a good while. The shop is small but we fit everything we need inside. Mostly, we work with steel and iron parts. The machines make a lot of noise, so we don't talk much while they are running. It is mostly just nodding and pointing. We have a small bench where we keep the finished items. Every morning starts with cleaning the dust off the worktable. There is always dust in Anand Parbat. We get a lot of local orders from other small businesses nearby. Sometimes someone comes in with a broken piece of a machine they cannot find anywhere else, and we try to make a new one or fix the old one. It is honest work. We don't use computers or anything like that. Just our hands and the old equipment. The tea here is strong and we drink a lot of it. The street gets very busy in the afternoons with trucks trying to get through. Our address 50/17-A is easy to find once you enter Gali No-1. We stay until the light goes dim. It is not a corporate office, just a place where we work with metal and get our hands dirty every single day. That is the way we like it. We usually lock up around eight.
