Pramod Engineering

Pramod Engineering has been operating out of E-3 in Jhandewalan for a good number of years now. This is a very industrial kind of area, so there is always the sound of machines or tools going in the background. We do a lot of engineering work, which basically means we fix things or make parts that people cannot find anywhere else in the market. Our workshop is full of heavy lathes and various tools that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine for our needs. It is not a place where you would want to wear nice clothes because there is oil and metal shavings everywhere on the floor. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for guests. People just come to the door and tell us what they need help with. Sometimes a job takes ten minutes, and other times we are working on a single piece of metal for two days straight. It is very precise work, even if the shop looks a bit cluttered and dark. We are not really into the whole digital world; most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or heard about us from a friend in the trade. We just focus on the machines and making sure the measurements are exactly right. It is a noisy and dirty job, but there is something satisfying about finishing a piece of work and seeing it fit just perfectly.
