Perfect Engineering Works

Anand Parbat Gali No 7 is a busy place, especially around 18 A where we are located. Perfect Engineering Works has been operating out of this small spot for a long while now. It is a bit of a maze getting through the lanes here, but once you find us, it is just a lot of metal and the sound of machines. My hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning and they stay that way until I go home. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful where we put everything. If you leave a tool in the wrong place, someone is going to trip over it. It is noisy, hot in the summers, and the tea always gets cold before I can finish it. But that is just how engineering works go. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy sign outside. Most people just walk in through the open shutter and ask for what they need. The light inside isn’t great, but we know where everything is kept even in the dark. Gali No 7 has its own rhythm. You hear the same neighbors every day and you know exactly when the lunch break starts by the silence that hits the street for thirty minutes. It is just a regular workshop doing regular things every day. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. As long as the machines are running, we are doing okay.
