Leather World

We are located at 213 Patparganj in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s easy to spot us because we are right near the Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Metro Station. Being close to the metro means a lot of people pass by our door every single day. Leather World is where we spend our time working with different types of skins and materials. The shop has a concrete floor and some metal racks for the stock. It’s a very basic setup. We didn't want to spend money on things that don't help us work better. Most of the time, you’ll find us at the back where the light is better for fine work. We have a couple of sewing machines that have been running for decades. They’re loud, but they never let us down. We get a lot of commuters stopping in to ask about what we do. We try to be helpful, even if we’re in the middle of a big job. The area can get pretty crowded, especially during rush hour, but we just stay focused on the leather. It’s a material that requires patience and a steady hand. You can't rush it if you want it to come out right. We’ve learned that the hard way over the years. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here.
