Being in Block L of Connaught Circus means we see a lot of people every day. Delhi is always moving and being right in the center of it is something else. Our space is pretty simple. We don't have those big glass walls you see in new buildings. It’s more of a traditional setup. Most of the staff here has been around for a long time. We know the chai wallah around the corner and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. The traffic in the circle can be a nightmare if you leave at the wrong time, so most of us stay a bit late to let it clear out. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby but that’s just life in the city. We have a lot of files and old desks. It’s not a flashy place. We just handle the business stuff that comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator. It’s a very grounded way to work. You can hear the sounds of the street from the windows if they are open. We like the history of the area. There’s something about Connaught Place that makes you feel like you are part of something old and important to the city. We just keep doing our thing here day after day without much fuss. It's just our office and we've grown quite fond of the chaos outside.
