M.R. Engg. Works Private Limited

If you find yourself in the Anand Parbat Industrial Estate, you’ll likely see our place at M.R. Engg. Works. We are on Plot 50, taking up the first and second floors. Street number 6 is a bit cramped, especially with all the other workshops around us. Being right by the railway line site means we hear the trains rattling past all day long, which sort of blends in with the sound of our own machines after a while. It’s a real industrial vibe here, nothing like those clean offices you see downtown. We’ve got metal scraps and tools scattered around, and the air always smells a bit like oil and burnt iron. Moving stuff between the two floors can be a bit of a pain, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time now, and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the engineering tasks at hand. Most of our day is spent at the benches or checking the machines to make sure they aren’t acting up. It’s hard work and the lighting isn’t the best, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as they come in, trying to stay ahead of the schedule despite the heat and the noise.
