About Mother Dairy India Limited – Industrial Plant & Machines in Central Delhi
Working up on the 11th floor of Gokul Niwas in Connaught Place is a bit of a strange experience sometimes. We are right in the middle circle, so the noise from the traffic far below is constant, even way up here. People are always rushing past the building on their way to the metro or the shops. Inside, we’re focused on getting milk and dairy products to where they need to go. Mother Dairy has a lot of history in this city, and being in an older building like this reminds us of that every day. The elevators are a bit slow and the hallways are narrow, but it feels like a real part of Delhi. We don’t have a lot of those modern open-plan offices you see in the tech parks. It’s more about piles of files, old desks, and people talking on the phones. We deal with the farmers and the distributors, trying to keep the supply moving. Sometimes the logistics get messy, especially when there’s a strike or the weather is bad, but we just figure it out. Nobody here is wearing suits unless there’s a very specific reason. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the latest news in the circle. It’s a functional place. We make sure the milk gets to the booths and the butter gets to the stores. It’s a big job but we take it one day at a time.
