Maheshwari & Co is located at 16/488 on Faiz Road. This part of the city is always moving, and our office is right in the thick of it. The building is one of those older structures with narrow stairs and high ceilings. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our rooms are filled with stacks of files and old wooden cupboards. It might look a bit cluttered to someone walking in for the first time, but we have a system for everything. We spend a lot of time on phone calls and meeting people who drop by. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re usually at our desks working. Faiz Road is noisy with all the rickshaws and cars outside, so we keep the windows closed most of the time. The light in the office isn't the brightest, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we’re doing. Our team is small, mostly people who have worked together for years. We don't really do the whole corporate dress code thing; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. Usually, we share a tiffin during lunch and talk about local news. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We handle our business day by day, making sure the paperwork is in order and the clients are taken care of without any unnecessary drama.
