Kalinga Lighting

Kalinga Lighting is located over at 5/7 in West Patel Nagar. Actually, the address says Weat Patel Nagar on some of the old papers, but everyone around here knows where we are. It’s a decent spot. Most of our time is spent dealing with different types of lights and making sure everything is in working order. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. Boxes are stacked up in the back and a few displays have been there for a bit. People from the neighborhood drop by mostly. Sometimes they just need a bulb or are looking for something bigger for their house. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. Being in Patel Nagar has its ups and downs, like the parking situation which is always a bit of a headache. But we like it here. It feels like home after so many years. A few of us know the inventory well and handle the daily tasks. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes when it gets busy, things get a little messy. That’s just life in a small business. We open up early and try to stay until the last customer is sorted. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy being part of the community here. It keeps us going.
