Our office is located right in the Videocon Tower over at E-1, Jhandewalan Extension. It's a pretty central place in Delhi, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. We focus on kitchen appliances, the kind of things people use every day in their homes. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a tall place, and sometimes the elevators take forever, but it’s where we do our business. The desks are usually piled with papers and samples of different parts. We aren't really the type to have a sleek, modern showroom; it's more of a working space where we handle orders and talk to suppliers. On a typical Tuesday, it’s quite loud with phones ringing and people discussing shipping schedules. We try to keep track of everything, though sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy. The staff here mostly takes the metro because parking around Jhandewalan is a bit of a nightmare. We grab lunch from the local stalls nearby most days. It’s a busy life here in the city. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors looking for parts or asking about new models. We don't have a fancy speech prepared for anyone. We just show them what we have on hand and try to answer their questions as honestly as we can. It’s just us, working in the middle of the city heat and trying to keep things organized.
