Karamels

You can find Karamels at 58-59 in the Regal Building. Being in Connaught Place means we see all sorts of people, from tourists to locals who have been coming to this part of Delhi for decades. The building itself has so much history, which is nice, even if the walls are a bit old. We stay pretty busy because of the location. Inside, it’s mostly about the food and getting orders out to the tables or for takeaway. We don't go for anything too fancy with the decor; we just want a place where people can grab something and sit for a bit. The noise from the street usually drifts in, but that’s just CP for you. Our staff is mostly busy in the back or behind the counter. Sometimes the electricity acts up in these old buildings, but we manage. It’s a lot of work keeping things clean and stocked when there’s so much foot traffic outside. We have our regulars who stop by after work, and then there are the weekend crowds that keep us on our toes. It isn't always perfect, and it can get quite loud during lunch hours. We just focus on making sure the food is ready and the customers get what they asked for. It’s a practical little spot in a very famous circle.
