Jai Kishan Madhu Sudan

We are tucked away in Gali Number- 11, right near Om Corner in Karol Bagh. If you’ve ever been to Rager Pura, you know how tight these streets can get. Jai Kishan Madhu Sudan is just one of many spots here, but we’ve been here long enough that people know the name. It’s a busy area. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking right outside the door. Inside, we just focus on the task at hand. The space is a bit cramped because we have to store everything we need, and space is hard to find in this part of Delhi. We started small and stayed that way, which suits us just fine. Most days are about managing orders and talking to people who drop by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. It makes the work go by faster when you can joke around a bit. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. That’s just part of life here. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just provide what people ask for and hope they come back next time. It’s simple. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that yet. Too much else to do.
