Iqra Leather Ceations

It's a bit of a climb to get to us on the third floor of S.P. Mukharjee Market. Karol Bagh is always crowded, especially near Faiz Road where the bikes and rickshaws are constantly honking. We've been at A-12 for quite some time now. Inside, the place usually smells like raw leather and glue. It’s a small team at Iqra Leather Ceations, maybe just a few of us cutting and stitching throughout the day. The windows look out over the market rooftops. It’s messy because we have scraps of material everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably just see us working at the benches. The lighting isn't the best, but we make it work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in and we have to stack the hides near the entrance. Most of the shops around us do similar things, so we all know each other. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten right at the work tables. We try to keep the noise down for the other offices in the building, but the machines can be a bit loud. It’s a honest day's work in a busy part of Delhi. We like being in the middle of the market action even if the traffic is a nightmare and the stairs are steep.
