Hitech Emporium

We are located in Room 116, up on the first floor of Tip Top Market. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how crowded it gets around 12/13 W.E.A. It’s a maze of shops and people shouting. Hitech Emporium is a small space, mostly filled with shelves and plastic bins. We sell a bit of everything when it comes to gadgets and small parts. The elevator in the market is often broken, so we end up carrying boxes up the stairs quite a bit. It keeps us fit, I guess. The room is a bit small, especially when three or four people come in at once. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our stock is just piled up where we can reach it. My uncle started this place years ago, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. You hear everything through the walls—the shop next door sells watches and they’re always playing music. We drink chai from the stall downstairs at least four times a day. It’s a busy life here in the market. We don't really have a website or anything like that; people just know we’re here in Room 116. Some days the humidity is so thick the paper curls, but we just keep the fans on high. It’s a messy, loud, honest way to make a living in the city.
