Our office for Hindustan Sanitaryware And Industries Ltd. is located on the 2nd floor of Tewari House. It is a busy place with people always coming in and out to talk about different projects. Since we are on the second floor, you have to head up the stairs to find us. It isn't a showroom, it is more where the actual management and planning happens. We have desks cluttered with papers, product catalogs, and old coffee mugs. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The building itself has been around for a long time, so it has that older character to it. We don't really go for the modern, sleek office look. We prefer just having a place where we can sit down and get through the daily emails and calls. Working in the sanitaryware business means we are always thinking about plumbing and fixtures, even when we are just sitting at our desks. There is always a phone ringing or someone asking about a delivery schedule. It can be a bit noisy with the street traffic outside, but you stop noticing it after a while. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure our records are straight. It is a lot of hard work behind the scenes, but it keeps the business moving forward every day.
