Gurudev Engineering Works

We are situated at Plot No. 17/18 B-1 over in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. It’s right off New Rohtak Road. If you are coming from the city, you just look for the Zhakira Overbridge and we are pretty close to that landmark. Gurudev Engineering Works is a small operation, really. It’s just a workshop with some old machines and tools scattered around the floor. The ground is usually covered in metal shavings and a bit of oil, which is pretty standard for a place like this. Anand Parbat is a crowded area, full of very narrow lanes and lots of noise from all the other shops nearby. We’ve been in this spot for years. Most people around here know us by now. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the jobs done. My hands are usually greasy by ten in the morning and they stay that way until I go home. We take on whatever work comes our way, mostly small parts and repairs that people bring in. The heat from the welding machines can make the shop feel like an oven in July. We have a small fan in the corner that doesn’t do much, but it’s better than nothing. Sometimes we sit outside on some old stools when the power goes out, which happens more than we'd like around here. It’s a tough life working in the industrial belt, but it’s what we know how to do. Just hard work and lots of iron to move.
