Our shop is located in the Ganga Ram Building on Ajmal Khan Road in Karol Bagh. If you are familiar with Delhi, you know this road is the very center of the shopping scene. It is always packed with people, even on the hottest days. We have been in this same building for many years now. The walls are old and have seen plenty of changes in the neighborhood. It is an old-fashioned kind of place with high ceilings and heavy wooden counters. We don't really use much modern technology here, besides the basic stuff for bills. We prefer doing things the way we always have. Dealing with the public in Karol Bagh is always an experience. It is loud, busy, and you have to keep your wits about you. We spend our days showing customers what we have and chatting with the regulars who have been coming to us for decades. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or light a few candles. We don't have a big corporate structure behind us. It is just a small team and a few helpers who are like family. We usually eat our lunch in the cramped back room while listening to the noise of the street outside. There is a specific energy on Ajmal Khan Road that you just don't find anywhere else. We don't try to pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just a local shop in an old building.
