Government Of Madhya Pradesh

This is the office for the Government Of Madhya Pradesh located at B-8 in the State Emporia Complex, Baba Kharak Singh Marg. It’s a well-known area in Delhi where many states have their spots. The complex is always full of tourists and people looking around. Our space is filled with things from back home. We have a lot of items on shelves and in display cases. It isn’t a huge place, but we try to fit as much as we can so people can see what Madhya Pradesh is about. The staff here mostly spends time talking to visitors or keeping track of the inventory. Sometimes the lights are a bit dim in certain corners, and we keep meaning to fix that. It’s a bit of a maze with all the crates arriving and being unpacked. We aren't a big corporation; we are just here to represent our state. The atmosphere is generally quiet until a group of people comes in all at once. We handle a lot of different things, from paperwork to showing people the crafts we have. It can get a bit tiring standing on your feet all day. Baba Kharak Singh Marg is a busy street, but once you step inside the complex, it feels a bit different. We are just here doing our bit every day. It’s a job that keeps us connected to where we come from, even though we are far away. Most days are pretty much the same.
