You can find Gobal Fairs & Media Pvt Ltd over in the Express Building, specifically at units 9 and 10. It’s a different kind of vibe than a factory, more about phones ringing and people typing away at their desks all day. The office is often filled with stacks of brochures and old magazines from events we worked on months ago. We have these big windows that let in some light, but mostly we are looking at computer screens or talking to people on the mobile. It gets pretty frantic when a big fair is coming up, with everyone running around trying to organize things and making sure the layouts are right. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen. It isn't a very large team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it is answering emails or carrying boxes of promotional stuff down to the lobby. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can feel that in the heavy doors and the way the corridors are laid out. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break, which is when we usually realize how much coffee we’ve actually drank during the morning. We aren't trying to be some big corporate giant, just a group of people making things happen from our small corner of the building. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
