Garg Enterprises

If you ever find yourself wandering around Chuna Mandi in Paharganj, you might have seen our shop at 2152/2. It’s Garg Enterprises. We have been here for a long time, and honestly, the neighborhood has changed so much around us. It used to be quieter, but now there is barely room to walk on the sidewalk. Our shop is packed to the ceiling with stock. Sometimes I think we have too much stuff, but then someone walks in asking for a specific part or tool and we usually find it after a bit of digging. It’s a family-run sort of thing, so there’s always someone talking or arguing about where the ledger went. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything. Most people who come here have been coming for years, or their fathers used to buy from us. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes this clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We deal with all sorts of general supplies. It gets really hot in the summer months because the shop faces the sun, but we keep the doors open anyway. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. Chuna Mandi is a tough place to work sometimes because of the congestion, but it is just where we happen to be based.
