Chennai Leather Exports

Our office is over at 22 Marshalls Road in Egmore, right near Ansari Road. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always someone honking outside. We’ve been working with leather for a long time. The smell of the hides is something you just get used to when you walk into the building. It’s a strong, earthy scent that stays on your clothes. We don't have a polished showroom. Instead, our space is filled with samples, rolls of leather, and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with exports means we are often on the phone or checking the latest shipping dates. Egmore is a central spot, so it’s easy for people to find us, but parking is always a struggle. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on Marshalls Road, but we’ve stayed put. Our team is small, and we mostly just focus on the quality of the leather we send out. It’s not the cleanest job because of the dyes and the dust, but we don’t mind it. We have a routine that works for us. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when the couriers come to pick up the parcels. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a practical business run by people who know the trade well. There’s always coffee in the pot and plenty of work to finish before sunset.
