Edwins Beauty Saloon

Edwins Beauty Saloon is located at number 39 on Bunglow Road in Kamla Nagar. It’s a familiar spot for a lot of people in this part of town. We’ve been here quite a while, and the shop has seen a lot of changes over the years. It’s not a high-end spa with expensive candles and soft music. It’s more of a neighborhood place where you come to get a decent haircut or a shave without making a big production out of it. The mirrors are a bit old, and the chairs have been sat in by thousands of people, but they’re still sturdy. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened. You’ll usually find a couple of us working the chairs and maybe someone waiting on the bench near the window. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. We don't have a website or a fancy booking system; you just show up and wait your turn. Bunglow Road is a busy street, so there’s always something to look at through the front window while you're waiting. We keep a stack of newspapers on the table, though they’re usually a few days old. It’s a basic, no-nonsense saloon. We know what we’re doing with a pair of scissors, and we don’t charge an arm and a leg for it. It’s just a comfortable, slightly cluttered place where folks can get cleaned up.
