Shahnaz The Ladies Beauty Salon

Our little shop is tucked away in Dev Nagar, right in the Sabzi Mandi area of Karol Bagh. It’s Shop Number 5 at 6787/10. Being near Khalsa College means we get a lot of students and local ladies coming through throughout the day. It is a ladies-only place, so things stay pretty relaxed inside. We’ve been here for a good bit now. Most days are spent doing threading, waxing, or maybe some hair coloring for the regulars. It’s a small space, but we make it work for everyone. The market outside is always noisy and crowded, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't trying to be a high-end spa or anything like that. It’s just a place to get your beauty stuff done without spending a fortune. The staff here are locals and we talk to the customers like neighbors because most of them actually are. Sometimes the tea runs out but we usually have a fresh pot ready. We know the regulars by name and exactly how they like their hair done. It’s a practical setup for the neighborhood. If you are around the vegetable market or coming from the college, you’ve probably seen our door. We don’t have any flashy lights or fancy decor, just a honest place to sit down and get your skin looked after. We keep the floors swept and the towels fresh, and we just do our best to stay on schedule. It is nothing special, just a salon.
