Apsaras Unisex Saloon

We are over here at number 13 on the Main Road in Pahar Ganj. It stays pretty busy outside because we are right across from Sai Travel Holidays. You can see the tourists and the locals walking past the glass all day long. Inside, things are simple. We’ve got the mirrors lined up and the chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some days it gets loud with the traffic noise and people talking while they wait their turn. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us just by walking down the street or after getting their travel tickets sorted across the road. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving when it gets hot out. We keep our combs and scissors in the drawers and try to stay organized, though some mornings it’s a bit of a rush. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop where people come to get their hair done and sit for a bit. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. We don't have any big signs other than the one out front. It’s just us working through the day, dealing with whoever walks through the door. Pahar Ganj has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of that. We keep the floor swept and the towels clean. It’s honest work. The mirrors have some small scratches on the corners from years of cleaning. We keep a bottle of water on the counter for anyone who is thirsty.
