It’s a lively area, being so close to the market. There is always noise from the street and people walking by. Our shop is just a small local beauty point where we do hair and other stuff. It’s a simple place with a few mirrors and the usual tools of the trade. We have been here in Sant Nagar for a while, and most of the people who come in live right around the corner. The shop gets a bit crowded on festival days or when there’s a wedding in the village. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and talk, other times we are working non-stop until late. Gali Number 19 is easy to find if you know the market area well. B-537 is the building. It’s not a polished studio, just a regular shop where neighbors come to get sorted out. We like being part of the community here in Burari.
