Disesh Flour Mills

We are located at Shop No. 50 in the Old Rajinder Nagar Market. It is a classic local market, and we have been a part of it for many years now. Our flour mill is a busy place, and the sound of the grinding machines is something you get used to very quickly. There is always a fine layer of white dust over everything, no matter how much we sweep and clean. People from all over the neighborhood bring their grain to us. We spend most of our day lifting heavy sacks and making sure the machines are running correctly. It is physical work and can be quite tiring by the time evening rolls around. The market itself is full of energy, with people shouting and carts moving back and forth. We don't have a website or any modern advertisements. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for decades. We have a few old wooden stools where people can sit and wait while we finish their order. Sometimes we share a cup of tea with the shopkeeper from next door when things are a bit slow. It is a noisy, dusty, but very honest way to work. We are proud to be a fixture in Old Rajinder Nagar. There is something satisfying about seeing the raw grain turn into fresh flour right in front of you. It keeps us going day after day.
