Delhi Jal Board

This is the Delhi Jal Board office over at Varunalaya Phase-2 in Karol Bagh. It’s a pretty well-known building in the area. We handle a lot of the water issues for the city from this spot. It’s a busy place with people coming and going all day. You’ve got the staff working on the pipelines, the billing, and all the technical stuff. It’s a lot of responsibility because everyone needs water. The building itself is quite large, and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have different departments for everything. Some days it’s quiet, but most of the time, there’s a lot of activity. We deal with maintenance reports, new connections, and making sure the supply stays steady. It’s not always easy, especially in the summer when demand goes way up. We have to manage the resources we have. The Karol Bagh area is always crowded, so getting to the office can take some time. We aren't here to be flashy. It’s just about keeping the system running. There’s a lot of old paperwork and maps of the city’s pipes. We just do our shifts and try to fix problems as they come up. It’s a government office, so there are rules and procedures for everything. We just follow them and keep things moving as best as we can without making things too complicated for the people.
