Up here on the 5th floor of the Kanchanjungha Building, things look a bit different than they do on the street. Barakhamba Road is always crowded, and you can see the cars lined up all the way down from our windows. Being in such a well-known building means we see a lot of people coming and going every day. The lifts can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we often find ourselves waiting around and talking to people from other offices. It’s a central spot in the city, which makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is a nightmare. Inside, it’s just a regular office with desks, computers, and a lot of coffee being drank to keep everyone moving. We handle a lot of different things here at Dcm Sriram Consolidated Limited, and it can get pretty hectic when several projects are happening at once. We don't go in for fancy decorations or trying to look more important than we are. It’s just a place where we come to work and get things sorted. The building itself is an old landmark, and it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, watching the city lights come on. It’s just a standard day-to-day life for us, navigating the busy world of Barakhamba Road and making sure we stay on top of our daily lists of tasks that need to be finished by evening.
