Authentique Bites

We set up Authentique Bites over here at Civil Lines 7 Rajpur Road because we liked the area. It’s not a huge place, just a spot where we make some food for the people passing by or living nearby. We aren't trying to be some five-star restaurant with tiny portions and huge prices. We just cook things that we’d want to eat ourselves. The kitchen is usually pretty noisy, and sometimes the orders take a bit longer when it's crowded, but we do what we can. Being on Rajpur Road means we see a lot of different people every day. Some of them are regulars who know exactly what they want before they even walk in. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us in the back and someone at the front. It’s a bit cramped at times, especially during the lunch rush, but we manage to get things out. We focus on the taste more than the presentation, to be honest. If the food's good, people come back, and that’s basically how we’ve stayed open. We’ve had some days where things go wrong, like the oven acting up or a delivery being late, but that’s just part of running a small food business in Civil Lines. We like it here. It’s our little corner of the world, and we’re just happy to be cooking and feeding folks.
