Amrit Associates

Amrit Associates is right in the heart of Naiwala in Karol Bagh. We are at Plot No. 1779 on Hardhyan Singh Marg, which is a very busy street for anyone looking for motor parts. The whole area is a maze of small lanes and shops, and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep so many parts in stock at all times. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling and are packed with metal components and heavy boxes. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and the smell of old iron in the air. We deal with a lot of mechanics and traders who come in looking for specific pieces for engines or gearboxes. The noise from the street is loud all day long, with scooters and delivery carts squeezed into every gap. We have a small wooden desk where we write out the bills by hand. It gets very hot in the summer months, but we keep the fans going as fast as they will go. People have been coming to this block for decades to find what they need. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often help each other out if someone is short on a particular item. It is a rough and ready kind of place, but it works for us.
