My office is right on the Tis Hazari Main Road at number 128. If you know Delhi, you know how chaotic this area can be. There are cars honking, people shouting, and a constant stream of lawyers and clients moving back and forth. I have been at this location for a long time, and I have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Inside 128, things are a bit more focused, but the noise from the road never really goes away. We have stacks of files that go all the way to the ceiling in some corners. It is a lot of paper to keep track of, but that is just the nature of what we do here. I usually get in early before the traffic gets too bad and stay until the sun is well down. My desk is always covered in notes and reminders. It is not the most organized-looking place, but I know exactly where everything is. People stop by all the time, sometimes with an appointment and sometimes just walking in from the street. We don't do anything fancy with the decor; it is just desks, chairs, and a lot of pens. Working near the courts means there is never a dull moment. You meet all kinds of people from all walks of life. It can be exhausting, but it is what I know. We just take it one day at a time and try to get the work finished before heading home.
