Minerva Architectural Designs

We are based over on Puthiyara Road in the Calicut Ho area of Kozhikode. Our office for Minerva Architectural Designs is pretty easy to find since we are so close to the New Bus Stand. It can get pretty loud and busy around here with all the buses coming and going, but it makes it very easy for people to reach us from other parts of the city. We spend our days drawing up plans and thinking about how buildings should actually work. It’s a lot of technical stuff that might seem a bit boring to someone else. The office is usually covered in big rolls of paper and pencils that need sharpening. We have a few computers that we use for the heavy lifting, but sometimes just grabbing a pen and a scrap of paper is easier to explain an idea. We aren't trying to change the world with our designs. We just want to make sure the walls are sturdy and the roof doesn't leak when the monsoon hits. It’s practical work. We’ve been in Kozhikode for a while now and we know how the weather here can be tough on buildings. That’s something we always have to keep in mind. We don't wear suits to work; usually, it's just jeans and shirts because we might have to head out to a dusty construction site at any moment. It’s a quiet life for us inside the office, despite the noise from the buses outside. We just keep our heads down and do the drawings as they come in.
