An Hill Architecture Studio

Started the studio in Feroke a while back. It is just a small place in Kozhikode where we spend most of our time staring at computer screens or sketching on bits of paper. People come in asking about house plans or how to fix a wall that doesn’t look right. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular desk and some chairs for when neighbors or clients drop by. Architecture is mostly just figuring out where things go so they don't fall down later. It gets quite busy during the day, especially when the traffic picks up outside in Feroke. Sometimes we have tea and just talk about how the weather is changing the way we think about roofs. We handle the drawings and the technical stuff that comes with building things around here. It isn't always glamorous work, honestly. There is a lot of measuring and double-checking numbers which can get a bit tiring after a few hours. We try to keep things simple because that is usually what works for people in this part of Kozhikode. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to site supervisors and trying to find where we put that one specific ruler. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We have been at this address for a bit now and people know where to find us if they need a plan drawn up or just some advice on a renovation they are starting.
