Our group is located at Clever House in Narsingpur. It's house number four if you're looking for us near Silchar. We started this because farming alone is getting tougher every year. A few of us from the village decided to pool our resources and see what happens. We do integrated farming here in Cachar. That means we mix things up, like growing vegetables and keeping some livestock at the same time. It keeps the soil better and gives us more than one thing to sell at the market. The office isn't much to look at, just a room where we keep our papers and meet up once in a while. We deal with the daily struggles of weather and pests. Sometimes we sit for hours just talking about the price of fertilizer or how the rain is late. We are not some big corporation from the city.
