Bihara Progressive Farmer Producer Company Limited

This group is over in Behara Part-II, right near Gorervitor G.P. in Cachar. Monojeet Goswami helps keep things organized from his place. We call ourselves Bihara Progressive Farmer Producer Company Limited, but really, we are just neighbors. People around here have been farming for a long time, mostly on their own. We decided to put our heads together to see if we could make the farming business a bit easier for everyone. It’s not always easy to coordinate so many people. Sometimes we argue about how to do things, but we always figure it out. The village is quiet, and most of our life revolves around the seasons. When the rain comes, everything changes, and we have to move fast. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get a better price for our crops. Our address is 788817 if anyone needs to find us. We don't have a secretary or a big reception desk. You just show up and talk to whoever is around. Most of the time, we are busy with the actual dirt and plants. We deal with whatever comes our way, from seeds to the final harvest. It’s a lot of manual labor and tracking things on paper. It feels good to work together instead of being alone in the fields all day. It is just a simple way to survive together as a community.
