Borkhola Integrated Farming Farmersproducer Company Limited

We are based out of Purandarpur in Cachar. It is a small place. A group of us farmers got together to form this company. We focus on integrated farming. That means we don't just do one thing. We have cows, some crops, and maybe some fish too. It's how things are done here in Borkhola. Our office is at house 119. It’s not a fancy building or anything like that. Just a place where we meet and talk about the crops. Farming is hard work in this part of Assam. Sometimes the rain is too much, and other times it is not enough at all. We try to help each other out with seeds and tools when someone is short. Most of the people around here have been farming for generations. My grandfather did it, and now I am doing it too. We wanted a way to sell our stuff without getting cheated by middle men. That’s why we started this Farmersproducer Company. It sounds like a big name, but we are just locals. We spend most of our days out in the fields getting our hands dirty. If you come looking for us at Purandarpur, just ask around the village. Everyone knows where the farming group meets. We are just trying to make a living and keep the land healthy for our kids. It is basic work but someone has to do it. We hope to grow a bit more next year if the weather stays good.
