You can find us at House No. 6 on Bye Lane 2, over in the Mouza Burunga area of Bikrampur Katigorah. We are a farmer producer company which basically means we are a bunch of local folks trying to help each other out with our crops. Working in the North Cachar Hills can be a bit of a challenge because the terrain is not always easy to deal with. We focus on our local area around Patta No. 66 and Dag No. 3. It is a lot of talking to farmers and trying to figure out how we can all get a better price for what we grow. Our office is not anything special to look at, just a regular house where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the harvest. We are not trying to be some huge corporation. We are just people from the community who know how hard it is to make a living from the land. Sometimes we have to travel out to the different villages to see how the fields are looking. The weather in Assam is always a factor, and we spend a lot of time worrying about the rain or the heat. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know us and know where we are located in Katigorah. It is just about sticking together and making the farming life a bit more manageable for everyone involved in our group.
