Salasar Cements

Our location is at Plot No. G10 in the Mangalpur Industrial Area. It’s out in Raniganj, right near the HDFC Bank. Salasar Cements operates from this industrial hub because it makes the most sense for what we do. It’s a dusty place, as you would expect from an industrial zone, but that’s where the real work happens. We handle a lot of cement bags every single day. The yard is usually full of trucks waiting to be loaded or unloaded. Being near the bank is handy for the paperwork and the financial side of things. We aren't a retail shop where you come to browse; we are a working site. Most of the people we see are drivers, loaders, and site managers. It’s a tough environment, especially in the heat of summer, but we’ve got a good routine down. We don't spend money on marketing because the business comes from the industrial network here in Raniganj. Our office is just a functional space with a couple of desks and a lot of grit on the floor. We focus on getting the trucks out on time. Sometimes there are delays or the machinery breaks down, and we just have to fix it and keep going. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work in a busy industrial setting. We eat our lunch quickly and get right back to checking the next shipment that comes through the gate.
