Our business is located out in Swarupananda Pally, which is part of the Budbud area. It’s a bit of a drive out into the Purba Burdwan district. We are quite close to the police station, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The area here is much quieter than the big cities, and we like it that way. The shop is a basic structure where we store our goods and handle our paperwork. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the people walking past our door by name. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have lived around here our whole lives. Most days involve checking our stock and seeing what needs to be delivered to the neighboring villages. The weather in Purba Burdwan can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is stored properly and stays dry. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our part in Budbud and make sure the local needs are met. The office has an old wooden table and a few plastic chairs for when people stop by to chat. It’s not fancy, but it works for what we do. We take things one day at a time here and don't worry too much about the fast pace of the outside world. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
