Om Enterprises

Om Enterprises sits right at 67/A, J. B. Mitra Road, near the Singha Dorja area in Purba Burdwan. It is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We have a small shop floor and an even smaller office in the back. I usually get in early to open up the heavy metal shutters before the morning heat starts. The building is one of those older ones with high ceilings and a bit of damp on the walls. We mostly keep to ourselves and get the orders ready. People stop by frequently because we are on a main road near the gate. It is easy to find us if you know where Singha Dorja is. We don't have any fancy signs, just the name painted in blue above the door. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need to do. My brother helps with the heavy lifting and we have a neighbor who comes in to help with the cleaning on Saturdays. Burdwan is a good place for this kind of business because everything is close by. We don't use much technology here, just a basic phone and some notebooks to keep track of everything. It is a bit dusty and cramped, but it is our place. We just try to get through the list of tasks every day.
