Indian Explosives Ltd,Gomia

Life here at the Gomia colony is pretty much centered around the plant. Most people who live in these quarters work for Indian Explosives or have family that did. It is a big place tucked away in the Bokaro district of Jharkhand. The air smells a bit different here, industrial I guess you could say. We have been part of this community for a long time. It is not like a city job where you go home and forget about work. Here, you live right next to where the explosives are made. The colony has its own rhythm. We have the local shops, a few schools for the kids, and everything is within walking distance if you don't mind the heat. The factory side of things is very serious, lots of safety rules and big machinery. Inside the office part, we deal with a lot of paperwork and technical stuff that keeps the production moving. It is an old site, so some of the buildings show their age with peeling paint and cracked pavements. But it feels like home to us. You see the same faces every morning at the gate. We aren't trying to be some modern tech hub. We are just an industrial outpost in Gomia doing what we have done for years. There is a certain pride in it, even if the work is hard and the location is remote.
