So we have been running Eastern Travels out of our spot here in Bhalsundha village for quite a while now. It is right near the post office in Chas. You know how it is in Bokaro, things move at their own pace. We started this small office just to help people around the village get their bus tickets or figure out how to get to the city without too much trouble. It is not some big fancy travel agency with bright lights. Most days it is just us sitting at the wooden desks, checking the schedules on the old computer. Sometimes the internet acts up because we are a bit out of the way. People walk in through the door just to ask about train timings or if we can book a taxi for a wedding. We keep a ledger for everything because sometimes that is just easier than the digital stuff. The office gets a bit dusty being so close to the road but we don't mind much. It is a local thing, everyone knows where we are. We try to get things sorted for the neighbors and people passing through. If you are looking for us, just head towards the Chas post office area and ask around. Most of the folks here can point you to the right door in the village. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the routes well enough to help out.
